Professional Services Disclaimer
Financy publishes practical guidance for Lebanese businesses. This page explains the limits of that guidance, and how regulated work is actually delivered.
Website content is general information
Everything published on this website — service descriptions, articles, guides, checklists, FAQs and the outcome of the business assessment — is general information prepared for a broad audience. It has not been prepared with knowledge of your circumstances, records, obligations or objectives.
It is not regulated advice
Nothing on this website is legal, tax, audit, assurance, accounting, investment, valuation or other regulated professional advice, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your own situation. Acting on general information without advice can be more expensive than the advice would have been.
Advice requires a written engagement
Financy advises only under a written engagement that sets out the scope, the responsibilities of each party, the assumptions, the timing, the deliverables and the fee. Submitting an enquiry, choosing a package or having an initial conversation does not create that engagement and does not fix a fee.
Outcomes depend on facts we do not control
The result of any engagement depends on the accuracy and completeness of the records you provide, the evidence available, the decisions of the relevant authorities, and your meeting your own responsibilities and deadlines. Financy does not guarantee a particular outcome, a specific saving, an approval, or a timeline set by a public authority.
Regulated and specialist work
Some work referred to on this website — including audit and assurance engagements, legal representation, notarial acts, regulated valuation and engineering opinions — may be reserved to licensed professionals under Lebanese law. Where such work forms part of a client requirement, Financy either delivers it in accordance with the applicable professional requirements or coordinates it with appropriately licensed associates, and confirms in the engagement letter which party is responsible for which element.
AI, OCR and automation
Financy uses automation, optical character recognition (OCR) and AI-assisted tools to reduce manual data entry. Output from these tools is reviewed by a person before it is relied on. The OCR demonstration on this website processes your document inside your own browser, produces a best-effort reading, and is provided for illustration only — it is not a professional service and its output must not be used for accounting, filing or any official purpose.
Fees and third-party charges
Financy fees are confirmed in a written proposal after an initial conversation. Government, authority, notary, legal, translation, courier, software, banking and other third-party charges are identified separately and are not included in a Financy professional fee.
