Financy — Integrated Business Advisory
SOL-03 · Reliable records and usable management information

Keep the numbers reliable, the close controlled and management informed.

Reliable records, reporting and finance operations designed to give management timely, usable information.

Problems we solve

Start with the friction, risk or decision—not a technology or procedure list.

01

Bookkeeping is behind

Transactions and supporting documents have accumulated, making current reporting and compliance harder.

02

Balances are unexplained

Bank, receivable, payable, tax, payroll or clearing accounts contain old or unsupported differences.

03

The close depends on one person

Tasks, review points, evidence and deadlines are not organised in a repeatable period-end process.

04

Management reports arrive late

The business sees results after the opportunity to investigate or act has passed.

05

Evidence is difficult to retrieve

Invoices, schedules, agreements and approvals are not linked clearly to the accounting treatment.

06

The accounting system no longer fits

The chart of accounts, workflows or software configuration does not reflect how the business now operates.

Finance operations starting point

Choose the first finance result that must become reliable.

The selector keeps familiar accounting procedures inside one connected closing and reporting process. The exact work depends on the periods, systems, records and agreed responsibility split.

Which finance issue should be addressed first?

General guidance only. Accounting treatments and reporting outputs depend on complete records, facts, review and the written engagement.

Source evidence

Material entries and adjustments are supported by available documents, explanations and an identifiable preparation trail.

02

Reconciliation

Key balance-sheet and control accounts are reconciled at the agreed frequency, with open differences visible.

03

Preparation and review

Responsibilities distinguish transaction processing, review, approval and client-provided information.

04

Controlled close

Reporting is issued after the agreed cut-off, query resolution and closing checks, with later changes recorded.

Questions before you start

Clear scope before commitment.

01Can Financy take over bookkeeping that is behind?+

Yes. We first confirm the periods, systems, records and existing balances, then define a catch-up plan and the point at which recurring processing can begin.

02Can you support our existing accounting system?+

Yes. The exact support depends on the system, current configuration, access, data quality and required workflow. Any migration or material configuration change is scoped before implementation.

03How often can management accounts be prepared?+

The reporting frequency and cut-off timetable are agreed around the business need and the availability of complete records. Monthly reporting is common, but it is not assumed for every engagement.

04Does Financy perform the statutory audit?+

Audit and regulated assurance work depends on the required appointment and professional permissions. Financy can separately organise accounting records, schedules, evidence and responses for an appointed auditor.

05What happens when invoices or explanations are missing?+

Missing items are tracked in an information or exception register. Their effect on processing, tax treatment and reporting is made visible rather than silently assumed.

Define the right starting point

Start with the period, records and reporting result you need.

Tell us what is current, what is behind, which systems you use and what management needs to receive. We will define the clean-up, recurring accounting or reporting scope.
